Follow Up Romania

HESSA association implemented two activities to spread the results of our project. Description can be found here:

1st Follow-Up Activity

On 17.01.2024 in Iasi, Romania, our organization HESSA together with all the Youth Workers that participated into the VARCOU project organized a follow-up event where been invited 13 youth workes from local community.

The purpose of the workshop was to inform the youth workers about Erasmus+ program, about the project learnings, experiences and about the impact of Art in youth lifes. We decided to focus on the topic of art as a way to design our community future, as being a topic we approached during the mobility. In the end we organized a small workshop where the participants could used art to image how will look the community after 10 years from now. The participants have been happy to find out new information and got in touch with us after the event to continue the collaboration into improving the community.

2nd Follow-Up Activity

Nedeloi Mihaela Despina, participant in the project Voice of ARt and COmmUnity, organized a follow-up event on 13.12.2023, in Gura-Humorului, Suceava, Romania. In this event I disseminated information about the project. At participated 22 high school students and 2 teachers.

The purpose of this dissemination was to inform them about the Erasmus+ project, about what I learned, experiences and the main activities that we did.

During the presentation, I let the kids name the countries that participated in the project by their flags. Then I presented to them the main objectives and the activities that we did during the training course. I told them how we made collages with magazines, the hard and long process behind them, but also the exhibition that took place after. The interesting part for them was the workshop in the school. We made a comparation between schools in Romania and schools in Cyprus. Also, about the topic of the workshop and the task that the students had to do.

They were very excited about the presentation. After I finished, I had a lot of questions about how they can apply for this kind of project or where they can find these opportunities.

I chose to present the project to them because they are young, and they are the future. If they have determination, they can participate in many Erasmus projects.
